The Assistant Director of Campus Ministry fosters a vibrant culture of faith and outreach at Santa Margarita Catholic High School (SMCHS) by inspiring students to integrate service into their daily lives while managing the administrative side of service activities. Working closely with the Rector, this role develops grade-level service learning programs, builds community partnerships, and joins the campus ministry team in providing a "ministry of presence.
Requirements / Qualifications
Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. Degree in Theology or Religious Studies from a Catholic University or, if a secular degree, Basic Certification in Theology from the Diocese. Previous experience organizing student group activities/field trips. Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to operate school vehicles. Be a living embodiment of the school’s Charism, Caritas Christi, and its Core Principles of Compassion, Humility, Goodness, and Justice.
