Position Summary
Santa Fe South Charter Schools seek a passionate and culturally responsive Dance Teacher to serve both middle and high school students (grades 6–12). Key Responsibilities
Instructional Duties:

Design and implement a standards-based dance curriculum aligned with the 2023 Oklahoma Academic Standards for Fine Arts, encompassing:

Performing: Develop students' technical skills and performance quality across various dance genres.

Creating: Guide students in choreographing original works, emphasizing artistic intent and expression.

Responding: Teach students to analyze and interpret dance works, fostering critical thinking.

Connecting: Encourage students to relate dance to personal experiences and cultural contexts.

Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and styles.

Utilize formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and inform instruction.

Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Program Development:

Collaborate with the site leaders to plan and execute school-wide performances and events.

Qualifications
Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Dance, Dance Education, or a related field preferred.
