Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Behavioral Health Contract Clinician to join our care team, delivering high-quality mental health services across diverse clinical settings. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, risk assessments, and diagnostic interviews to inform treatment planning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care).
- Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy to support clients with mental health and substance use disorders.
- Monitor client progress, adjust treatment interventions as needed, and maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in EHR systems.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, case managers, and other professionals to coordinate holistic care.
- Educate clients and families on coping strategies, medication adherence, relapse prevention, and community resources.
- Participate in discharge planning, care coordination, and telehealth services to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted license in a behavioral health field (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent), is preferred. Non independently licensed clinicians would be considered.
- Previous clinical experience in behavioral health settings preferred, including outpatient, inpatient, community-based, or telehealth environments.
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth) and familiarity with behavioral health documentation standards and coding practices.
- Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention techniques.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with co-occurring disorders, trauma histories, or severe mental illness.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations, ethical standards, and best practices in behavioral health care.
