The Santa Fe New Mexican is seeking a dedicated Web Offset Press Operator for a full-time, on-site role located in Santa Fe, NM. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining printing presses, ensuring the highest quality print for all publications, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and managing pre-press preparations. Operators will also conduct quality control checks and ensure production runs smoothly and on schedule in coordination with our 24-hour printing operations.
- Proficiency in Machine Operation and Printing processes
- Experience with Quality Control and maintaining high print standards
- Ability to perform Troubleshooting for mechanical and technical issues
- Knowledge of Pre-press procedures and production workflows
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively under deadlines
- Prior experience in commercial printing or a related field is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by production schedules
