What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shower Door Installer or Apprentice position at Santa Fe Glass?
Santa Fe Glass has an immediate opening for a shower door installer. The position requirements include various installations for shower enclosures with an emphasis on frameless heavy glass and mirrors. Individual will interface daily with builders and homeowners to complete in-home installation appointments. Individual must possess the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with other staff and customers. Our rule is to leave our customers homes better than we find them.
Would prefer an experienced installer with 3 years of experience working with shower doors, but open to an installer with less shower experience and strong glass and/or carpentry knowledge. Knowledge of how to read a tape-measure and record fractions is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years shower door installation.
Minimum Requirements (either of these):
- 1 year previous hands-on experience installing shower doors.
- 2 years experience in carpentry.
Applicants must be able to pass a drug test, have a valid driver's license, and be willing to become OSHA 10 certified at company's expense. Occasional travel is required for larger projects within driving distance. Company vehicles are provided for all appointments and job travel.
