What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Math Teacher position at Santa Fe Christian Schools?
Santa Fe Christian Schools is growing, and we are seeking a qualified, experienced High School Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach all levels of High School Math.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a curriculum and lesson plans that will foster knowledge and skills essential to teaching students in the High School grades effectively
- Create hands-on, inquiry-based, project-based lessons that build excitement for literature
- Demonstrate concepts using models, technology, and other standard or teacher-prepared instructional aids
- Evaluate each student’s progress in their knowledge of Math
- Communicate with parents to discuss the individual student’s progress
Spiritual Requirements:
- Model a growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ
- Demonstrate biblical maturity and serve as a Christian role model
- Maintains active participation in an evangelical church
Professional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Math
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience at the High School level
- Interest in contributing to the school community outside of the classroom as an athletic coach, student advisor, student club leader, or otherwise preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
