Position: Esthetician
Reports To: Spa Manager & Hotel General Manager
Requirements:
- Licensed Esthetician
- Proven experience working as a Esthetician
- Submittal of CAMTC certificate and application approval to the Santa Cruz Police Department before employment begins
- Must show proof of self-liability Insurance
- Sound knowledge of physiology & aromatherapy of the face and body
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Patience, professionalism and respect for Spa guests
General Responsibilities:
Evaluate a customers skin condition and offer recommendations for treatments.
Recommend skincare products to customers, including lotions, facial washes and moisturizers.
Complete facials with the intention of moisturizing and cleaning.
Perform all facial, body and applicable treatments, add ons offered on the menu.
Adhere to high professional image standard such as dress, appearance and language.
Actively build repeat clientele.
Attend and participate in all team trainings/meetings.
Assists new team members and welcomes them for a positive work environment.
Adheres to work schedule and has good work ethics as a team player.
Resolve guest complaints and report any accidents to the Spa Manager & Director of HR.
Clean and sanitize work areas, changing treatment room sheets, and sterilizing all instruments and equipment before and after each use.
Follow all COVID19 related sterilization and sanitation requirements prior to each treatment in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
Explain treatments and therapies to guests and provide suitable recommendations as needed.
Ensure that the spa is adequately stocked with spa supplies and report shortages to the Spa Manager.
Inquire about guests' medical conditions and allergies before providing spa services.
Follow all policies and procedures outlined by Lotus Management Inc.
