Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager Experience Engineering with a strong background in ReactJS, Front-End Architecture, and AI integration. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of overall engineering experience with at least 8 years in React and proven experience leading engineering teams.

Candidates with Pharma industry experience and knowledge of content workflow systems will be given high preference.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end engineering efforts to build rich, scalable, and responsive UI applications.

• Work closely with design, product, and backend engineering teams to bring complex UX flows to life.

• Architect, develop, and optimize React applications for performance, accessibility, and scalability.

• Integrate APIs, implement state management (Redux / Context API), and build reusable components.

• Contribute to design systems and component libraries.

• Drive AI/ML integration into UI workflows using modern AI tools and frameworks.

• Mentor developers and participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.

• Ensure WCAG compliance and follow front-end best practices.

Required Skills

• 15 years of overall software engineering experience.

• 8 10 years of hands-on ReactJS and front-end development.

• Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6 ), HTML5, CSS3, Webpack/Vite/Parcel.

• Deep understanding of front-end architecture, component-driven development, and UI frameworks.

• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.

• Strong experience with API integration, performance tuning, and responsive design.

• Experience with unit testing frameworks Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress.

• Hands-on exposure to AI/ML integration in UI (OpenAI, LLMs, personal assistants, etc.).

Preferred Skills

• Pharma experience (MLR, Veeva, Content Workflow).

• Experience with Next.js / Remix for SSR.

• Knowledge of TypeScript, design systems, reusable UI libraries.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Vercel) for deployments.

• Open-source contributions or public GitHub profile is a plus.

Work Model

• Hybrid 2 3 days onsite at the NYC PS Office.

• Candidates must be willing to commute weekly if not living in NYC.
