Restaurant Shift Leader/Manager

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supervise the day-to-day business operations of the store including conflict resolution with employees and customers

-Make sure all employees provide best customer service to customers

-Identify new streams of business and discuss with owners

-Ensure all proper procedures are followed

-Ensure ordering is done properly each week

-Transfer product from store to store when needed

- Make store schedules effectively when needed

- Follow budget based on needed shifts and keeping labor controlled (<22%)

-Stay knowledgeable of any catering orders

-Ensure store is staffed for orders

-Ensure someone is able to deliver (if applicable)

-Ensure location has product needed for any upcoming catering orders

-Ensure the store maintain cleanliness and excellent health scores

-Bi-weekly payroll completed

-Ensures all personnel issues are handled appropriately

- Hiring/ Terminations

-Stays knowledgeable of any personnel issues , and handles them appropriately

- New Hire paperwork completed and sent to Payroll

-Facilitates/Approves all pay increases for employees

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail or restaurant management, preferably with multi-location responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team effectively.
• Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Understanding of budgeting, payroll, and financial management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing needs and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations, inventory management, and scheduling.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with payroll and scheduling software.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between store locations.
• Flexible availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
