The incumbent will have the opportunity to work on different facets of drug delivery and product development for modalities such as Lipid Nanoparticles (LNPs) and Adeno-associated virus (AAV).

Main Responsibilities
- Execution of formulation, process development and stability studies for gene therapy programs.
- Work with internal and external partners to address formulation, stability and compatibility aspects using established assays efficiently and comprehensively, across a variety of technological platforms and disciplines.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and good documentation practices including electronic laboratory notebook maintenance and writing of technical reports and SOPs.
- Analyze, compile and present results to internal and cross functional teams comprised of members from multiple groups and stakeholders
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidates are required to be enrolled in a PhD or MS university program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline with 1 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the Internal requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship.
- Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with peers across a spectrum of disciplines is required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and learn new skills and possess flexibility and adaptability that is needed in a fast-paced team environment.

- Experience in gene therapy, particularly formulation and manufacturing of lipid nanoparticles and viral capsids-based drug product is a significant plus.
