Job Purpose

Primarily responsible for overall factory management including activities in warehouse and testing & integration operation to meet required production goals in line with required customer specifications and cost objectives. Directly or indirectly manages functional support to the operation (warehouse, supply chain, production, quality, engineering, and cost management). Strategize to optimize operational performance to continuously improve profitability while adding value to customer. Plan and administer cost optimization strategies to drive budgetary recommendations on operational expenses, consumables and direct/indirect labor. Responsible to build high performance teams with strong level of specialization on our Order Fulfillment core business that continuously collaborate to exceed customer expectations. Responsible to develop and implement strategies towards improving profitability, with the right asset utilization, that allows and organic business growth by focusing on customer satisfaction. Determines organizational performance goals and ensures employees development through training and performance management. Leadership over unexpected problems quickly and efficiently by identifying required support if any while dealing with all external departments in the corporation. Reporting directly to Regional Operations Leadership for Sanmina Global Services.

Nature Of Duties/Responsibilities

• Oversee an operation responsible to manage $160M USD inventory with an order fulfillment flow through of $1.2B USD per year.
• Manages all personnel related activities within area of responsibility throughout the Plant interacting with various levels of management.
• Assist in the overall strategic direction of the functional departments through the specification and purchase of facility design, capital equipment, process improvement and involvement in the continuous improvement program.
• Leads management team in review of operational performance and setting of strategy to achieve production and revenue targets while making customer expectations.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through performance that results in the profitable recurring business plus providing the opportunities for growth into additional new business.
• Through internal interface and coordination with operations, engineering, program management and staff functions ensure proposals for potential contracts and new business are prepared accurately and completely to such a degree that a positive match between company’s capabilities and customer’s requirements are achieved resulting in winning new business that meets the business plan objectives.
• Provide direction and execute the product/service contract management process resulting in accurate forecasts of new business, competitive pricing, successful customer negotiations, new product introductions and scope identification and recovery.
• Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long-range goals and objectives.
• Oversee execution of corporate policies and customer contractual requirements
• Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.
  
  

Education And Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing/Engineering/Business.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive managerial experience in manufacturing, preferably as operations manager, finance, or manufacturing engineering background.
• EMS background preferred in an Operations Management position.
• “Hands-on” type manager with solid experience and knowledge of MRP system, NPI, and capacity planning.
• Proven communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. General computer skills, strong organization, and time management skills.
  
  

Annual Salary Range: $150,000-$180,000

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
