Mechanical Assembler / Box Build

Job Purpose

Mechanical Assembly of the final system builds installing circuit cards into systems.

Nature Of Duties/Responsibilities

• Assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
• Hand soldering components and cables to PCBA.
• Touch-up and repair/rework.
• Use of power screwdrivers and other hand tools such as Torque Screwdrivers, Wire Strippers, Solder Stations, Pliers and Wrenches.
• Read and interpret procedures and documentation.
• Lifting and moving boxes within the production area.
  
  

Education And Experience

• Minimum of 1 years assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and understand Sanmina’s assembly instructions process documents.
• Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools, or production equipment.
• Must have experience working in a fast paced environment
• Lifting of 25 lbs or more several times a day
• Must be available to work overtime as needed.
