Mechanical Assembler / Box Build
Job Purpose:
Mechanical Assembly of the final system builds installing circuit cards into systems.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
- Hand soldering components and cables to PCBA.
- Touch-up and repair/rework.
- Use of power screwdrivers and other hand tools such as Torque Screwdrivers, Wire Strippers, Solder Stations, Pliers and Wrenches.
- Read and interpret procedures and documentation.
- Lifting and moving boxes within the production area.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand Sanmina’s assembly instructions process documents.
- Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools, or production equipment.
- Must have experience working in a fast paced environment
- Lifting of 25 lbs or more several times a day
- Must be available to work overtime as needed.
