Technical Program Manager Liquid Cooled Products

The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant.  Located in California’s Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume.  The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems.  Supporting diverse technology sectors including semiconductor, telecommunications, and medical equipment, the Fremont facility offers a wide array of services including sheet metal fabrication, welding, painting and clean room assembly.

Job Purpose:     

• Oversee all aspects of Sanmina’s relationship with rapidly growing & technology leading customers (Redacted - Strategic Account) (commercial, operational and relationship matters) by working with Operational groups within the company as well as by the team of professionals that will be dedicated to managing the (Redacted - Strategic Account) relationship.
• Create and execute a detailed strategic roadmap to drive growth with (Redacted - Strategic Account) on a global theater, by understanding (Redacted - Strategic Account)’ requirements and working with the appropriate groups within Sanmina to craft and execute plans to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Starting with the existing Program Management resources assigned to (Redacted - Strategic Account), build an effective high-performance Program Management Office (PMO) organization that is staffed with the right type and quantity of resources to effectively support the account and that complements the plant operations organizations.
• Provide strong day-to-day leadership and management of all Program Management resources to ensure that the team is effective in taking good care of existing business and is executing all steps required to grow profitable new business.
• Creating, maintaining and executing detailed customer specific plans to drive extraordinary growth; and assisting in “closing the deal” when required.
• Work with Plant leadership in a matrix-management environment to ensure operational excellence across all aspects of our business with customers. Set high standards.
• Ensure the achievement of financial goals for revenues, profitability and asset management for Sanmina’s business with (Redacted, Strategic Account).
• Manage risk in business by mitigating it where possible and communicating clearly within Sanmina.
• Provide the organization with strong market feedback on technology, pricing and performance levels. Help to shape competitive strategy.

Professional Experience and Qualities:

The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:

• A 10+ year track record of success in commercial, program management or engineering roles for companies with best-in-class machining and engineering operations; preferably with key customer relationships in semi-conductor capital equipment.
• A track record of growth that is indicative of strong financial, commercial skills as well as strong customer presence.
• Ability to push, engage, motivate, and lead others. A leader who is not afraid to set bold expectations and work within a matrix environment to drive the organization to achieve these high standards.

Educational and Industry Background:

A degree in Thermal, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering (Masters+ Preferred) or similar technical degree is required. Experience in Precision Metal Fabrication & Electro-mechanical Assembly related specifically to Liquid Cooling CDU, Load Banks & other related to Data-Center Infrastructure is a must.

Salary Range (annual): $125,000 - $175,000.  Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.

Salary : $125,000 - $175,000
