Server

Sankyu Sushi & Izakaya is hiring an experienced Server to join our front-of-house team. We are a casual, middle-to-high-end sushi restaurant focused on warm hospitality, high-quality Japanese food, and a comfortable dining experience.

We are looking for someone who is professional, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of serving experience, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in hospitality.

Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests
Take orders accurately and communicate clearly with the kitchen and sushi bar
Guide guests through the menu, including sushi, rolls, izakaya dishes, drinks, and specials
Maintain clean and organized tables, service areas, and dining room sections
Run food, clear tables, refill drinks, and support teammates when needed
Handle guest questions, requests, and concerns with care and professionalism
Follow restaurant standards for timing, presentation, and guest service
Work closely with managers, hosts, bussers, sushi chefs, and kitchen staff

Minimum 1 year of serving experience required
Restaurant experience in sushi, Japanese cuisine, or upscale casual dining preferred
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and busy shifts
Able to multitask while staying organized and professional
Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Knowledge of sake, wine, cocktails, or Japanese food is a plus

We want someone who understands that good service is more than taking orders. Our servers should make guests feel welcomed, explain the menu clearly, and help create a smooth dining experience from start to finish.
