Job Skills / Requirements
· Own 3rd-shift sanitation safety program: LOTO, HazCom, PPE, Ergonomics, Slips/Trips/Falls, high pressure hoses, Ladder Safety, Powered Industrial Trucks, Workplace Violence, Machine Guarding, Confined Space, Injury and Illness Prevention Plan, Heat Illness Prevention Plan, Emergency Action Plan, Fire Prevention Plan, Incident Investigation and Reporting, Bloodborne Pathogens, Electrical Safety, Fall Protection Hearing Conservation.
· Manage sanitation incident investigation process: establish incident investigation team to conduct root-cause analysis, accident trend analysis reporting, recordable events and near-miss incidents.
· Serve as primary sanitation-safety liaison to customer safety team; conduct safety inspections, participate in safety audits, and safety committee facilitator.
· Lead pre-shift safety talks; coach supervisors, leads, and Safety Champions; enforce safety programs, policies, rules and ensure compliance with CALOSHA regulations.
· Track sanitation safety metrics (DART, safety incidents for sanitation, and audit scores) and report weekly to VP Safety and customer safety team.
· Oversee sanitation safety budget (training hours, purchase and monitor PPE usage, improvements) and recommend targeted engineering controls on customer equipment/administrative controls.
· Attend weekly sanitation and quarterly customer meetings
· Drive continuous safety improvements in sanitation methods (hoses, deck plating, drain-cleaning practices, ergonomic tools, chemical handling, blade and guard cover handling).
· Participate in OSHA visits, and conferences and act in a professional matter when handling these situations.

Industrial Engineering
Or related field
