Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sanitation Worker located in Greensburg, IN. The Sanitation Worker will be responsible for ensuring clean and sanitary conditions within the food processing facility. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces, performing regular inspections, following food safety and sanitation regulations, logging cleaning activities, and supporting the preparation of facilities for regulatory audits and inspections. The role may also involve participating in training sessions to ensure updated knowledge of best practices in food safety and sanitation protocols.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills for interacting with team members and following instructions effectively
- Knowledge of Food Safety and compliance standards applicable to food processing facilities
- Experience in Sanitation practices and methods within food or manufacturing environments
- Ability to participate in and facilitate Training sessions to promote safe and efficient sanitation practices
- Familiarity with Food & Beverage industry processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
