We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in various or specific client facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all employees. Your efforts will contribute to the overall efficiency and quality of our operations and provided services.
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of workspaces to meet health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of sanitation practices to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment for various surfaces and materials.
- Assist in the proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and tasks completed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Support other departments as needed during peak production times or special projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in cleaning, particularly in industrial or commercial settings is required.
- Prior residential cleaning experience is a plus!
- Familiarity with sanitation practices within food production or processing environments is highly desirable.
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Experience in warehouse settings can be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
