Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of Sangtera devices. You will support manufacturing, reliability, and process improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes while honing your mechanical skills in a fast-paced environment.
The role is a 6 months position with potential for conversion to full time once concluded.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform assembly and testing activities per established protocols
- Support process and reliability improvement activities through standard and non-standard assembly and testing
- Help set up processing stations
- Maintain production area and equipment
- Follow clean room protocols to ensure environment and product cleanliness
Skills and Requirements:
- Education / Experience: Trade school or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work with minimal supervision a plus
- Experience working in a clean room highly preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Fine motor skills – manual assembly of small parts
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance during assembly tasks
- Physical stamina – ability to stand or sit for long periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination
- This position requires full-time on site work
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
