Sang-A America is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and versatile General Utility Worker to help maintain our manufacturing facility and support daily operations.
If you enjoy working with your hands, being outdoors, operating equipment, and tackling different projects each day, this could be a great opportunity for you!
This is not a position where you'll do the same thing every day. One day you may be mowing and maintaining the grounds, another day assisting our Maintenance Technicians with basic repairs, operating a forklift, or helping keep the facility safe and organized.
What You'll Do
- Mow lawns, trim grass, pull weeds, and maintain company grounds.
- Shovel snow and apply salt to sidewalks, entrances, and walkways during winter weather.
- Assist Maintenance Technicians with basic repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility projects.
- Operate forklifts to move materials, equipment, and supplies after required training and authorization.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and groundskeeping equipment safely.
- Maintain clean and organized indoor and outdoor work areas.
- Assist with moving, assembling, and organizing equipment and materials.
- Identify and report maintenance needs, equipment issues, and safety hazards.
- Support Production, Warehouse, and Maintenance departments as needed.
- Perform other general facility and utility duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in groundskeeping, general maintenance, manufacturing, warehouse work, or similar hands-on positions preferred.
- Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Forklift experience is required.
- Ability to work independently and manage changing daily priorities.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all seasons, including snow and cold weather.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime or adjusted hours for snow and ice removal.
