What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Sanford Trion?
- Processing engineering change requests
- Trouble-shooting production problems
- Assist in trouble-shooting assembly & fabrication equipment
- Optimizing work-station layout
- Justifying, specifying, and installing equipment
- Introducing new products (BOM scrubbing, Manufacturing Trial Lots, Assist in Training, and work with Design Engineering on Production Issues related to Design for Manufacturing).
- Creating and maintaining Bill of Materials and Routings (Assembly and Fabrication).
- Supporting and/or leading Lean projects.
What we look for:
Required
- Degree in Engineering or other related manufacturing discipline.
- 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering experience
- Lean manufacturing principles (material flow, material presentation, process flow, workstation design.
