Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Busser, you will assist the waitstaff by maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area and supporting the overall efficiency of service.
Duties
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for new customers.
- Assist servers by refilling drinks, delivering food items, and providing any additional support as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors as necessary.
- Ensure that all utensils, glassware, and dishes are properly cleaned and organized in the kitchen.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Help set up and break down dining areas for special events or catering services.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and guests effectively.
