Phlebotomist - Bemidji Core Lab - PRN Bemidji, MN Job Details Facility: Bemidji Medical Center Location: Bemidji, MN Address: 1300 Anne St NW, Bemidji, MN 56601, USA Shift: Varies Job Schedule: PRN Weekly Hours: Varies Salary Range: $17.00 - $25.50 Job Summary Uses equipment to collect samples of blood and other fluids from patients/residents; explains procedures to patients/residents and collects information from them in a professional manner. Collects and manages samples of blood and specimens from patients/residents; ensures patient/resident safety during the sample collection process. Records and documents patient/resident information accurately. Follows all standard procedures and safety regulations; deploys asepsis techniques during phlebotomy procedures. Communicates with patients/residents, collecting their health information and answering their questions regarding phlebotomy procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) required. Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
