**Job Summary**
Oversees and directs administrative functions in conjunction with the Clinic leadership. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving. May monitor and resolve work queue issues. Understands accounting, budgeting and analyzing projects and data. The Clinic Supervisor demonstrates understanding of clinic procedures and opening/end of day processes. Provides leadership to the department/clinic employees. Distributes work in areas of responsibility in order to achieve department/clinic goals. Emphasizes accuracy, productivity and completion of work within established time frames. Works with clinic leadership to address staffing issues, budget considerations, and employee satisfaction and compliance issues. Displays professionalism and promotes an atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation. May coordinate provider schedule. Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations. Understands the use of multi-line telephone, computer, copier, fax machine, scanner and webcam, as appropriate. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. May have access to medications for purposes of distribution to licensed personnel. Assist with the Onsite Services duties when appropriate, tasks include, but not limited to, driving the mobile unit to various onsite locations, open and set up of the mobile unit, audiograms, onsite testing, results, and filing reports. Oversee and complete flu shots as well as other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Care Administration or related field preferred.
Minimum of one year of related experience in one of the following areas; occupational medicine, health care management, or professional nursing in a clinical care setting. Must have organizational and planning skills as well as an in-depth knowledge of service area operations and objectives. Knowledge in the use of general and specialized office equipment, including computers and various software applications required.
Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications, i.e. Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Supports (ACLS).
