Job Title: SVP - Multifamily Asset Management
Location: Miami, FL (20-40% travel)
Salary: $200k - $230k base, plus 40-60% bonus, plus carry
The Senior Vice President of Multifamily Asset Management is a senior executive responsible for overseeing multifamily portfolio performance, value creation, and strategic asset management
program across Florida, Texas, and other target markets. The SVP leads a team of asset managers and collaborates closely with the acquisitions, capital projects, and property management functions to drive investment returns and support portfolio growth.
Portfolio Oversight & Asset Management Strategy
- Leads multifamily asset management program, overseeing all portfolio assets across Florida, Texas, and other target markets.
- Develops and executes asset-level business plans in alignment with the firm’s investment objectives and return targets for each asset.
- Monitors portfolio-wide performance and provides regular reporting to ownership on financial results, KPIs, and strategic initiatives.
- Identifies value creation opportunities and drives initiatives to enhance net operating income, occupancy, and property values.
- Advises ownership and Principals on portfolio strategy, hold/sell decisions, and capital allocation recommendations.
Financial Performance Management
- Reviews and approves annual operating budgets, capital budgets, and multi-year business plans for all portfolio assets.
- Analyzes monthly and quarterly financial reports, variance analyses, and operational KPIs across the multifamily portfolio.
- Partners with the controller and finance team on financial modeling, return tracking, and investor reporting.
- Monitors revenue performance, expense management, and NOI growth across all assets relative to underwriting assumptions.
- Evaluates leasing performance, loss-to-lease, rent growth, and market positioning for all portfolio properties.

Education:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Strongly Preferred: Master’s degree in Real Estate, MBA, or related advanced degree from an accredited program.
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in multifamily asset management with demonstrated leadership responsibility.
- Proven track record overseeing multifamily asset management programs with full portfolio responsibility across multiple markets.
- Extensive experience with value-add and opportunistic multifamily investment strategies.
- Background in a family office, private equity, REIT, or institutional investment environment strongly preferred.
Salary : $200,000 - $230,000
