Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate to support fast-paced warehouse and store operations. In this role, you will be responsible for handling the movement, tracking, and accuracy of auto parts, supplies, and materials between locations.
You’ll play a key role in keeping inventory flowing smoothly between the Distribution Center and Stores while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency at all times.
What You’ll Do
- Operate forklifts to receive, ship, and move inventory safely
- Scan, pack, and organize auto parts into totes, boxes, or cages
- Pull, stage, and ship products to warehouse or store locations
- Process transfers between hub and stores accurately and on time
- Maintain shipping/receiving records and complete required documentation
- Ensure all orders are verified for accuracy before shipment
- Report unsafe conditions, damages, or inventory issues immediately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment daily
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and loss prevention standards
- Act as a back up delivery driver/ shuttle driver when needed
- Support team members and assist in other areas as needed
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Valid Drivers License with acceptable driving history
- Basic computer skills required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Dependable, flexible, and willing to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
Key Performance Expectations
- Maintain 99% inventory accuracy and fill rate goal
- Ensure all shipments and transfers are completed correctly and on time
- Maintain safe and compliant work practices at all times
Physical Requirements
This role requires an active work style in a warehouse environment:
- Regularly lift up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 40 lbs
- Stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, and climb throughout the shift
- Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Use hands for scanning, handling, and operating equipment
- Wear required PPE (safety glasses, boots, gloves, vest, etc.)
