About the job
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Outside Sales Representative to grow market share and strengthen customer relationships across the Barre, Montpelier, Northfield, and Randolph, VT territory.
In this role, you will be the face of the business in the field—developing new accounts, expanding existing partnerships, and delivering solutions that keep our customers’ operations running smoothly. You’ll have the opportunity to directly impact sales growth, customer success, and overall market expansion.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and grow new business through prospecting, cold calling, and relationship building
- Maintain and expand existing customer accounts across your assigned territory
- Achieve monthly sales and profit targets
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer needs, questions, and solutions
- Recommend products and programs that match customer needs and drive value
- Track all customer activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM systems
- Collaborate with store teams to ensure strong service execution
- Support company promotions, programs, and sales initiatives
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
- Build long-term partnerships based on trust, responsiveness, and product knowledge
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of customer-facing experience (outside sales or retail/automotive preferred)
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a performance-driven environment
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to work independently and manage a territory-based schedule
- Flexible availability, including occasional evenings or schedule adjustments as needed
