Sandy's is a locally owned and operated convenience store company proudly serving communities throughout Pennsylvania. Our California Avenue location is a fast-paced convenience store and fuel station offering tobacco products, beverages, snacks, PA Lottery, Skills Games, everyday essentials, and fuel services.
We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. If you enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of a team that keeps customers coming back, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming experience for every customer.
- Accurately process sales transactions using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist customers with tobacco purchases, lottery transactions, beverages, snacks, and convenience store merchandise.
- Verify identification and follow all company policies and legal requirements related to age-restricted products.
- Monitor fuel sales and assist customers with pump-related questions when needed.
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to ensure products are available, fresh, and attractively presented.
- Maintain store cleanliness, including sales floors, counters, coolers, restrooms, and outdoor areas.
- Handle cash and payments accurately while maintaining accountability and integrity.
- Promote featured products and specials to help drive sales.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and monitoring inventory levels.
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily store operations.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to frequently bend, reach, lift, and carry merchandise.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
