Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children in our facility
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote child development
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary using appropriate behavior management techniques
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and diaper changing as needed
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, nannying, or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Ability to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability in working with children of different ages and needs
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
- Experience working with students or early childhood education is highly desirable
