JOB TYPE: Full-time PAY: $30.00 – $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and licenses; overtime paid over 40 hours
ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for one experienced, self-directed maintenance technician to own the day-to-day upkeep of our properties across Dennis and Chatham. You will work independently, set your own daily route, and be the first call when something needs fixing.
RESPONSIBILITIES General repairs and preventive maintenance across multiple properties Light electrical work — fixtures, switches, outlets, troubleshooting Light plumbing — fixtures, valves, leaks, clogs, water heaters Carpentry, drywall, painting, doors, windows, locks and hardware Landscaping and grounds upkeep — mowing, trimming, beds, seasonal cleanups Weekly trash and recycling service at each property Appliance troubleshooting and coordination of outside vendors Seasonal opening and closing of properties; turnovers between guests Pool and hot tub service: water chemistry, filters, pumps, heaters, covers (preferred; we will train) Direct interaction with guests on site — answering questions, resolving issues Keeping records of what was done at each property
QUALIFICATIONS 3 years in property maintenance, facilities, a building trade, or comparable hands-on experience Working knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing systems Grounds and landscaping experience Valid driver's license and clean driving record; comfortable towing a trailer Hard working, self-motivated, and strong time management Schedule flexibility — Saturdays are required through the summer season, with occasional Sunday work Neat, professional appearance and strong customer-service skills — this is a guest-facing role Own basic hand tools Able to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders, and work outdoors year-round Massachusetts HIC registration preferred Construction Supervisor License (CSL) preferred CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification a plus — we will pay for it if you don't have it
