Sandy Cove Ministries is seeking an AV Event Tech Supervisor to join our team.
Position Summary: Supervise and work with a team of Event Technicians as they plan, prepare, and execute all conference set up service. Along with supervisory duties, this position requires someone to have an in-depth working knowledge of audio and visual operations to provide quick solutions and training.
General Purpose: To provide training, leadership and daily supervision to the team of Event Technicians dedicated to A/V and event set up, to meet the needs of Sandy Cove Program and Group events so that guests can connect with God and each other.
Role Qualifications:
- Personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- 3 years of Audio/Visual experience
- Positive work attitude
- Physically capable of carrying out assignments
Essential Job Functions:
- Collaborate closely with the Hospitality Manager to define goals, objectives, and standards for all conference activities, and effectively communicate these expectations to Event Technicians
- Inspect conference rooms to ensure A/V equipment is properly set up and meets event standards
- Coordinate with groups before events to ensure seamless setup, transitions, and connection of all necessary equipment
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing a welcoming experience and maintaining clear, consistent communication throughout event planning and execution
- Operate audio and visual systems on site for events
- Confident in leading all A/V needs for groups ranging from 30 to 1000 guests
- Inspect conference rooms and support areas to ensure overall cleanliness and proper set up for events
- Oversee and actively assist with the setup, breakdown, and retrieval of A/V systems and other event equipment as needed
- Monitor and immediately report any damages made to Sandy Cove property to Hospitality Manager by submitting work orders
- Provide training to Event Technicians and any other eligible Sandy Cove staff members utilizing relevant industry terminology
- Train Event Tech staff to access and comprehend Maestro delivery reports
- Perform any other reasonable task as assigned
This position also contributes creatively by capturing video content that tells the story of what God is doing at Sandy Cove. This includes recording and editing short testimonial videos, highlights from events, and occasional social media content that helps promote ministry impact.
- Capture and edit short-form videos (testimonies, event highlights, etc.)
- Support promotional storytelling through occasional photo/video contributions
- Experience with video capture and editing software
- Creative eye for storytelling through media
- Spearhead special projects as they arise

- Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to almost constantly move by either standing, walking, using hands, bending, lifting tables & chairs, climbing stairs, balancing stooping, and kneeling. Seeing, talking, hearing, and sitting are also required. There is a lot of repetitive motion. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.

Compensation: Minimum: $20.50 | Maximum: $27.74
