STARTING SALARY:** $17.44 - $27.91/Hour STATUS:** Part-Time (non-benefitted, CLOSING DATE:** Open until filled. Department will begin reviewing applications on October 13, 2026. Summary
Under the general supervision of the Recreation Coordinator-Youth Programs, organizes and supervises youth programs and participants.

- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:** High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Requires experience in job-related activities, including working with youth recreation, camps, or related programs; must be 18 years of age or older per city policy to work with youth, work various shifts, and for insurance purposes. Must possess a valid Utah Driver's license. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Knowledge of games, sports, recreation, arts and crafts, storytelling and music; leadership, team building, and self-motivation skills and problem-solving skills; correct English usage, spelling and vocabulary. Great responsibility for the care, condition and use of materials, equipment, tools, etc.; great responsibility for making decisions affecting the activities of people, including responsibility for worker motivation and satisfaction. Communicate effectively verbally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with participants, employees, staff and the public; contacts requiring tact and judgment to avoid friction and obtain desired result; outside contact with public presenting information. Regular use of a copy machine and telephone; occasional use of a personal computer, and city vehicle. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
