What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fast Food Crew Member position at Sandwich Express?
Hey, we are looking to hire one person for our day crew;
*CURRENT COLLEGE STUDENTS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY; YOU CAN HAVE SOME DAY SHIFTS AND SOME NIGHTS, AROUND YOUR SCHEDULE*
Requirements;
1. HOURS / AVAILABILTY; You have some availabilty during the week days. Our schedules are pretty flexible, but it's best if you can work 2-3 week days right away. During the summer, schedules change, but you will continue to get your hours especially if you are a hard worker. Hours can range from about 15 to 30 depending on your availabilty, and how much you want to work, and honestly, how good you are and how long you plan on staying. But if you are a good worker, I will find hours for you.
2. LONG TERM; You must plan on staying for at least a year. Training takes a lot of resources so some bit of longevity is required.
3. PAY; Pay for day time availabilty starts at $15.50, but everyone splits tips, and that usually averages out to $2.50 an hour per person. So on average starting wage is $18 an hour. Raises are normal, one for learning how to make sandwiches, and the rest are just how good you are overall, no set time. But they are pretty common if you are just a good worker overall. I respecct good workers. The last 2 months tips have turned out to be $3 per person per hour, just as a reference, on how it can be even more sometimes.
4. JOB DESCRIPTION (what you will be doing);
Stuff you will do (but not limited to) is taking orders at front, taking orders at drive thru on the headset, doing dishes, taking out the trash more stuff that's on our "list" which is basically just tasks similar to those that need to be done by a certain time. You will also be making sandwiches, scooping up soup, putting fries in, things like that.
