- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Assist with annual audits and provide documentation requested by external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Review financial data for accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Assist with payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
- Support tax filings, sales tax reporting, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
