Senior Service Technician

The Field Service Technician provides professional service to Sandvik customers by installing and repairing equipment in a safe and timely manner. The technician will work closely with other departments within Sandvik to ensure customer satisfaction and solve problems effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Shipping and receiving operations
• RPS field services and corresponding service reports
• RPS Tool teardown, servicing, and documentation
• Drill steel field inspections with detailed reporting
• Air and weight testing of drills at each mine site
• Bit and drill steel deliveries
• Oversight and management of all inventories at the Arizona warehouse
• Install and maintain all types of Sandvik drilling equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures promptly and efficiently.
• Provide technical support to operators and supervisors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service visits.
• Operate vehicle and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist in training new employees when requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and heavy equipment safely.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with hydraulic systems preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical examination.
