The Rotary Drilling Division is now looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Buyer Analyst who will be responsible for procurement to support production and after-market support.
The key responsibilities are:
- Purchase components based on requirements within MRP.
- Expedite, de-expedite, and cancel parts based on production requirements.
- Purchase components for Maintenance, Repair, and Operation (MRO) via hand requisitions or through the internet approval sites. (As needed)
- Resolve any invoice disputes with the supplier.
- Resolve non-conforming parts by sending parts back to the supplier for evaluation, rework, or replacement.
- Gather information from suppliers to gain a better understanding of the assigned suppliers' supply constraints.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or applicable studies, with (3) years of experience,
- Or Associate's degree & 4 years’ experience in purchasing manufacturing parts,
- Or Equivalent Educational background with 5 years’ experience in purchasing manufacturing parts.
- Ability to follow instructions and processes to perform the functions of the job.
- Ability to function independently and produce results that meet standards of quality, timeliness, and acceptability with minimal supervision and general direction.
- Ability to type 35wpm and 10-key data entry.
- Creativity to continuously improve processes.
- Fluent in both written and oral English; Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge of ERP or MRP and their applications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal skills are required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
