POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Facilities Coordinator to support the backbone of our operations. This role is essential in keeping our shop, fleet, and equipment organized, maintained, and running efficiently so our field teams can perform at their best.
This is a hands-on, hybrid role combining facilities coordination, fleet/equipment management, and occasional carpentry support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilities & Shop Management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment
- Coordinate building maintenance, inspections, and repairs
Fleet & Equipment Oversight
- Manage preventative maintenance programs for vehicles, trailers, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements
- Perform regular inspections to maintain safe and reliable operations
Scheduling & Systems
- Utilize Buildertrend to schedule, track, and coordinate maintenance and repair activities
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs
Inventory & Procurement
- Track and manage inventory of shop supplies, tools, and equipment
- Coordinate purchase orders, vendor communication, deliveries, and returns
Logistics Coordination
- Work closely with Project Managers to coordinate material and trailer deliveries to job sites
- Support efficient staging and movement of materials and equipment
General Operations Support
- Respond promptly to team needs and facilities-related requests
- Monitor waste and maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Contribute to a positive and professional workplace culture
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide hands-on carpentry support on job sites as needed during high-demand periods
- Assist with safety compliance efforts alongside Sandvig’s OSHA Safety Officer
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in facilities, maintenance, construction, or a related field
- Working knowledge of vehicles, trailers, tools, and general mechanical systems
- Basic carpentry knowledge preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Buildertrend is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and remain active throughout the day
- Comfortable pulling and backing up trailers
