Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the group home facility
- Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate 24/7 coverage
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Ensure adherence to Qualified Residential Treatment Provider standards and accreditation requirements
Youth Services:
- Develop and monitor individualized service plan goals and objectives for residents
- Maintain accurate youth records and documentation
- Coordinate services with external providers and community partners
- Manage intake and discharge processes for residents
Crisis Management & Leadership:
- Provide support to youth and staff during crisis situations
- Develop, implement, and maintain all group home policies and procedures
- Supervise and mentor direct care staff
- Ensure high-quality care standards are consistently met
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or closely related field (psychology, human services, criminal justice, etc.)
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in child welfare or closely related field
- Experience with policy development and implementation
- Supervisory experience preferred but not required
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks and meet all licensing requirements
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends
