Overview
We are seeking an experienced Paving/Grading Supervisor, Asphalt Raker & Asphalt Roller Operator/Break Down and Finish to lead and manage asphalt paving projects. This role requires a strong background in construction management, site supervision, and asphalt operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent skills in and quality control, with a focus on safety and efficiency on construction sites.
Duties
- Oversee daily operations of paving and grading activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.
- Operate rollers, and other heavy machinery to break down and finish asphalt surfaces efficiently.
- Supervise and coordinate crews, including subcontractors and laborers, to meet project deadlines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Monitor the use of construction materials and equipment to maintain budget control and minimize waste.
- Enforce OSHA regulations and promote a safe working environment on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in paving, grading, asphalt operations, or related construction fields.
- Supervising or management experience in heavy civil or asphalt projects preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery including asphalt rollers safely and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to supervise teams effectively.
- Construction site experience with a focus on quality control.

Pay: $ $65.00 per hour
