Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing routine nursing care to our residents, ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. You will work closely with our nursing team to provide individualized care and attention to each resident, supporting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Currently enrolled in a school for nursing assistants or have a license as a certified nursing assistant
- Provide routine nursing care to residents, including vital signs checks, bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with feeding, toileting, and transferring residents
- Make resident rounds to administer quality nursing care and address any concerns
- Verify resident identification to ensure accurate care and report any missing ID bands to the admission coordinator
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including making beds, cleaning bedside tables, and restocking water pitchers
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Demonstrate a sincere desire to serve the ill, aged, and infirm, and possess a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a school for nursing assistants or have a license as a certified nursing assistant
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a certified nursing assistant or clinical experience while enrolled in a nursing assistant certification class
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
- Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel and possess patience, tact, and emotional stability
