Sales Manager Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and develop a team of automotive sales professionals
- Coach sales staff on proven sales processes and closing techniques
- Set sales goals, monitor progress, and lead the team to meet and exceed targets
- Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle by asking questions and understanding their needs
- Explain vehicle performance, features, benefits, and available options to prospective customers
- Present and demonstrate pre-owned vehicles in a professional and knowledgeable manner
- Help overcome objections, structure deals, and support the sales team throughout the sales process
- Provide daily leadership, accountability, and motivation to the sales team
- Assist in closing deals and ensuring outstanding customer experience
Sales Manager Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership sales management experience required
