We are looking for an attorney who brings sharp analytical skills, sound judgment, and a practical approach to resolving complex business disputes. Our ideal candidate is confident in the courtroom, comfortable managing client relationships, and motivated to grow within a firm that values professionalism, collaboration, and long-term client trust.

Responsibilities

• Represent business clients in state and federal courts across Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region.

• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.

• Provide strategic counsel to clients on dispute avoidance, risk management, and litigation strategy.

• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to deliver comprehensive client service.

• Participate in business development and client relationship initiatives aligned with the firm’s strategic growth goals.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• Active Virginia Bar membership (or eligibility for prompt admission).

• 10 or more years of experience in commercial litigation or related civil litigation practice.

• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

• A practical, client-centered approach to problem-solving and litigation strategy.
