At Sandridge Crafted Foods, we’re looking for dependable, positive individuals to join our Shipping team as a Material Handler. This role plays a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly—ensuring products are accurately prepared, moved, and loaded for delivery.
Experience is not required—we’re looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, great attitude, and willingness to learn.
This is a full-time, 1st shift position working 12-hour shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM on a Panama-style schedule, which includes built-in overtime for consistent, higher weekly pay.
What is a Panama Schedule?
This schedule follows a 2-2-3 rotating pattern:
- Work 2 days → Off 2 days → Work 3 days
- The following week rotates
- You’ll have every other weekend off (3-day weekends)
- Built-in overtime provides consistent, larger paychecks
Time and a half after 10 hours in a single day
Time and a half after 40 hours in a week
12-hour shifts = regular built-in overtime → bigger paychecks
This schedule is ideal for those who prefer fewer workdays with longer shifts and more days off.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced, team-oriented warehouse environment supporting food production operations.
Compensation:$20 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Pull, stage, and move product for shipping and production needs
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality
- Ensure proper product rotation, labeling, and storage
- Maintain accurate inventory and receiving documentation
- Support production by supplying raw materials as needed
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (as trained)
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to meet daily goals
- Complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working in temperature-controlled environments (approx. -15°F to 55°F)
- Willingness to work a flexible Panama schedule (12-hour shifts)
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Basic communication and computer skills
Preferred (not required):
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or material handling experience
- Forklift or equipment operating experience
