Job Summary:
We are seeking a Help Desk Level 1 professional with a DOD Secret clearance to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in IT or related field are a plus
- Active DOD Secret clearance is mandatory
- Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Responsibilities:
- Respond to help desk tickets and provide technical support to end-users
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate IT personnel
- Install, configure, and update software applications
- Document all support interactions and solutions in the ticketing system
- Maintain knowledge base articles and user guides
- Provide basic training to end-users on software and hardware functionality
