Personal Injury Lawyer

We are currently hiring for a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney and a Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney.

We are a high volume personal injury law firm and looking to hire a new attorney. This attorney will be working on a high volume docket. This is a great long-term career opportunity with lots of potential for growth and is ideal for someone who wants to be a top level attorney. Must have at least two years of experience in personal injury litigation.

Responsibilities include:

• For Litigation Attorney: All aspects of litigation including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• For Pre-litigation Attorney: All aspects of pre-litigation, including demands, negotiations, and case evaluation.
• Help resolve client issues as they arise.
• Take direction from managing attorneys and execute assignments in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Required: JD and must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in Texas.
• Must have valid TX driver license.
• Two years in personal injury litigation preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Excellent work ethic with the drive to "get the job done".
• Must be approachable and able to communicate effectively with professionalism.

Attorney Compensation & Benefits:

Litigation Associate I

• $100,000.00 to $125,000.00 DOE
• Bonus structure evaluation and opportunity for raises end of Q4 of 2024.
• Student loans assistance (No cap/limit on total amount).
• Annual raises in December are to be expected with good performance.

Associate (First 4-6 years with firm) (This Posting)

• Starting at 100,000.00 - $125,000.00 (Salary & Bonuses)

Senior Associate (Qualifications for Consideration: 4-6 Years with Firm or Upper-level management tenure)

• Starting at $160,000 (Salary & Bonus)
• Same benefits as Associate; and

• Additional student loan assistance

Partner (4-7 years with firm and 7-12 years as a practicing attorney in personal injury)

• Starting $215,000 (Salary Bonus)
• Same benefits as Senior Associate; and
• Contract with SJ Law Firm which includes additional benefits

Senior Partner (12 years with firm & 15 years as a practicing attorney)

• Starting $350,000 (Salary Bonuses)
• Same benefits as Partner and
• Additional contractual benefits
