Responsibilities
- Assist an older physically disabled female with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and transfer by electric lift support from bed to wheelchair.
- Monitor oxygen needs including maintaining clean equipment
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance for patient confidentiality
- Meal preparation and nutritional needs
- Provide companionship and ensure confidentiality in the home
- Perform light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment in accordance with health standards
- Observe and chart basic info
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home health care helpful
- Transport to appointments, shopping or various events
- Experience working with physical disabilities highly desirable
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
- Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to and from work

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
