Duties
- Monitor event entrances and exits to control access for attendees, staff, vendors, and contractors.
- Conduct thorough security checks including bag inspections and credential verification.
- Utilize CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to oversee event premises continuously.
- Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
- Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, ensuring immediate care for injured individuals.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or emergencies.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs to document all activities and occurrences during shifts.
Experience
- Prior experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention strategies.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided.
- Strong understanding of security protocols, crowd control techniques, and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
