Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including buffing, stripping and waxing, carpet cleaning and scrubbing.
• Execute detailed janitorial tasks such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, dusting, and surface disinfecting to uphold hygiene standards.
• Apply specialized floor care procedures, including stripping and sealing floors when necessary to preserve their quality.
• Utilize environmental services best practices to ensure eco-friendly cleaning processes are followed consistently.
• Assist with special projects such as deep cleaning or maintenance of high-traffic areas to support overall facility upkeep.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring all tools are sanitized and stored properly for safety and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial work, or environmental services with a focus on floor care and carpet cleaning.
• Strong knowledge of janitorial procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to operate floor machines, carpet extractors, and other floor maintenance tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks during evening shifts.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
