Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) / Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
Full-Time or Part-Time | Albuquerque, NM
Sandia Sunrise Therapy is expanding and looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our outpatient therapy team. We are seeking clinicians who are passionate about helping children develop the skills they need to participate more fully in everyday life.

Position Responsibilities
Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Complete evaluations and establish individualized plans of care
- Provide occupational therapy services to children ages 0–21
- Develop home programs and caregiver education strategies
- Monitor patient progress and update treatment goals as needed
- Complete evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress reports
- Supervise OTAs in accordance with state regulations
Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
- Implement treatment plans under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
- Deliver engaging and goal-focused therapy sessions
- Assist with home program implementation and caregiver education
- Document treatment sessions accurately and efficiently
- Communicate patient progress with supervising therapists
All Team Members
- Collaborate with therapists, caregivers, educators, and medical providers
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Current New Mexico Occupational Therapy license
- NBCOT certification
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
- Current New Mexico OTA license
- Associate degree from an accredited OTA program
