Position Summary
Create and devleop layouts and graphic artwork for all outside/in-house casino advertisements, brochures and signage.
Supervision Exercised
Reports to the Advertising Services Manager.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating artwork for outside advertisements including, but not limited to, outdoor, newspaper and magazines.
- Responsible for creating artwork for in-house advertisements including brochures, flyers and signage for all departments.
- Responsible for keeping track of publication deadlines and making artwork deadlines.
- Creates various presentations.
- Assists management in creating and maintaining brand throughout the property.
- Changes creative messages on the property in a timely manner to ensure relevant information is being displayed.
- Walks all areas of property on weekly basis to ensure that all messages being displayed are correct and the creative standard is being complied with.
- Assists the marketing department with promotions, special events, etc. as needed.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must be proficient in QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe PhotoShop.
- Have an understanding of the technical aspects of composition, color, separation and the printing process.
- Must be creative and think “out of the box”.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work all hours, including weekends.
- Assist the marketing department with promotions, special events, etc. as needed.
- Excellent communication skills
Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience
Required:
- Graphic Art Design Certificate/Degree.
- Four (4) years professional design experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred:
- Proficient in QuarkXPress, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe PhotoShop; Acrobat and PowerPoint.
Licensing Status
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
- Will require a post-offer, pre-employment and random drug screening.
Working Conditions
- Work hours subject to change with overtime work required.
- Must be able to work long hours under stressful conditions.
- Subject to hazards which may cause personal bodily harm; smoke, common colds, influenza, dust, odors, and elevated noise levels.
- Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft carpeted floors, cement structures and surfaces.
- Duties may involve walking, standing for long periods of time, sitting, and crouching.
- Specific required movements include the following:
- Trunk-bend, twist, rotate, push, pull, and carry.
- Arms-reach, push, pull, lift, twist, and rotate.
- Legs-lift, push, pull, twist, and rotate.
- Hands-grasp, manipulate, bilateral coordination, overall and finger dexterity
